Fetish sex behavior is characterized by using a certain object or
objects to achieve sexual satisfaction. If one enjoys having sex with
fetish sex objects like erotic lingerie or BDSM being involved, it
doesn't mean that he/she is fetishist. But if one can't have an orgasm
without these specified objects, it can be classified as a form of
paraphilia or fetishism.
Fetishism is traditionally considered a male disorder. While most of
women enjoy sexual relations with their lovers as they are, many man
can't be aroused enough without particular fetish sex items, so their
partners have to wear high-heeled shoes,
French maid
costume, push-up
bra, nylon
stockings and other fetish
clothing.
In general, fetish sex depends on the fetish the couple is fond of.
There are four essential types of fetish sex: object fetish sex, body
part fetish sex, action fetish sex and concept fetish sex.
Object fetishists prefer having sex with the help of different
inanimate things. In that case an object functions as a surrogate of
corresponding parts of the body, for example, fetish shoes or fetish
sock act instead of feet, latex
fetish and leather
fetish –
instead of skin, fur fetish
– instead of hair, stocking
fetish or
pantyhose fetish
– instead of legs, bra and panties fetish
– instead of breast and genitalia etc. Some fetishists of
this
type even collect their fetish objects.
During body part fetish sex only certain parts of the body are
stimulated. The most widespread body part fetish in America is breast
fetish, that is why breast implant insertion tops the list of popular
plastic surgery operations. Other parts of body commonly involved in
fetish sex are buttocks, feet, legs, lips, hair and bellybuttons.
Action fetish sex include voyeurism, exhibitionism, oral and anal sex,
and other forms of sexual relations which imply getting pleasure from
certain actions. Sometimes these actions don't have anything to do with
sex itself, but, for some psychological reasons, play the role of
aphrodisiac, e. g. smoking
fetish.
Concept fetish sex is related with definite views about ideal sexual
relationship. For example, some people enjoy having sex only with
powerful partners, others can get satisfaction if they are paid for
sex. Usually these ideas are evidence of some psychological disorder
and should be treated.
